Joji Kokuryo has management-level gaming experience in R&D, sales, marketing, casino floor structuring, and regulatory compliance. He was based in Macau and was the Senior Compliance and Operations Manager of Aruze Gaming Macau, where he was in charge of operations in Asia and Europe until 2018.
Since his return to Japan in 2019, he has worked in official capacities with gaming operators, local governments and regional institutions to better prepare Japan for integrated resorts, acting as a bridge between his home country and the international gaming industry.
He also continues to work with top international gaming machine manufacturers in areas such as company licensing, product development and marketing strategies, and is also a technical advisor to the east Asian branch of the International Gaming Standards Association.
