Peter Johns is an accomplished Gaming Executive with over 30 years of experience in this industry. He has held many executive management roles with gaming operators in Europe, America, Australia, and Asian gaming jurisdictions. He was based in Macau over 12 years gaining experience in the Asian gaming market and responsible for the Opening and Start Ups of MGM Macau in 2007, Galaxy phase one in 2011, as well as the opening of Galaxy phase two in 2015. He was also involved in the planning and redevelopment of all overseas casinos for the Macau Legend Group MLD. (2017-2020)
Currently, Peter is Chief Commercial Officer for IDX Games and idNerd Studios LTD Hong Kong.
A privately held company, IDX Games was formed in 2019 and has concentrate on the development of innovative and intelligent gaming products for live tables and the ETG segments, as well as digital display systems and technology.
IdNerd studios was formed in 2010 and creates digital content and animations, (2d 3d and anamorphic) for most major resorts in Australasia, and non-gaming businesses throughout Hong Kong.
Peter is part of the innovation team and is in charge of all commercial business development for both companies.
With a background in Computers and Electronics and an MBA from Macquarie University, Sydney.
Peter has a passion for innovative technology, resorts, media, gaming and digital concepts. He believes that planned digital transformation of the gaming industry in essential to keep it relevant compliant, exciting, and safe for the post covid customer.
